Founded in 1980 by Michel Joseph, the Domaine des Frogères converted to organic farming in 1988, making it the first Saumur-Champigny AOP vineyard to be certified.
In 2015, Michel passed on his know-how and experience to his nephews Valentin and François-Xavier who continue to produce wines naturally to best express the typical characteristics of their terroir.
